The countdown to Sydney continued. Some of the established stars showed their stuff, but even more riveting were performances by the new kids: many dramatic battles where one miss meant losing the gold--if you ever wanted to see the value of producing lifts when you needed them, this video is the one for you. See a ferocious dogfight in the 69s and 77s, Huster pushed to the limit by the young Gardev in the 85s, and 17-year-old Szymon Kolecki defeating two-time Olympic gold medalist Akakios Kakiashvilis in the 94s.
