Dips are not fully appreciated by everyone:
- They work three of the largest, most impressive muscles in the upper body--pecs, delts and triceps--adding slabs of muscle and more might to your chest, shoulders and arms
- Everyone who bench presses will have a rotator cuff problem sooner or later; a lot of guys can dip without pain or problem even if they can't bench press
- While benching without a spotter is a good way to get injured or kill yourself, you can't get crushed doing dips
We could go on, but you get the picture.
